Elizabeth M. Pendzick was born in eastern Long Island. She attended the State University of New York at Geneseo, graduating in 1992. She attended Hofstra University School of Law, receiving her Juris Doctorate in 1995.
As the managing partner of Hausman & Pendzick, she is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the firm, as well as overseeing a team of lawyers, paralegals, and legal assistants in preparing many of the firm’s cases involving catastrophic injuries for trial. These cases include many matters involving Labor Law, medical malpractice, premises liability, and motor vehicle accidents.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Pendzick was an associate at Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker focusing on medical malpractice and motor vehicle liability defense. She then served as a Senior Court Attorney at the New York State Appellate Division – First Department. Her years of experience handling insurance defense, and numerous appeals, give her an invaluable advantage in handling and preparing the firm’s plaintiffs’ cases for trial.
Ms. Pendzick presently heads the firm’s appellate department. Since taking over the handling of the firm’s motion & appellate practice, the firm has had several successful appeals.
Elizabeth is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the Westchester County Women’s Bar Association, The American Association for Justice, and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Southern Districts of New York.
